After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1996 I worked in various parts of Australia as a mixed animal practitioner, especially black and white cows... Following a three year tour-of-duty working throughout the UK I discovered Lagos, whilst on holidays. It has been a love affair since then.
We are proud of what we have created with the Lagos Vet Clinic. We have managed to source all diagnostic modalities we need to provide a full integrated service for our pets and their owners.
When (rarely) not at work I occasionally have a chance to play golf or tennis, go rock climbing and share time with my fabulous mates, my lovely lady and our little son, Ziggy.
I`m home-town Lagos girl! I began work working at LVC this October (2019).
I studied Veterinary Medicine in Lisbon and worked there for almost two years.
Now I´m back in my home town and enjoying working with this fantastic crew.
I have two cats and five Labrador dogs which fill me with joy and happiness.
I came over to Portugal last January and I have been a part of the LVC team since the following February, 2019.
Previously, I was working for 3 years in the UK as a vet. I am originally from Cyprus and I got my veterinary degree in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2014.

My 2 cats came with me from the UK and they have been enjoying the Portuguese weather since!
My free time includes Brazilian jiu jitsu and baking for the gang at the clinic.
I came over from London in 1988 as a holiday rep and have been here ever since. My two children were born and raised here but have since left, each on their own adventures.

Lars and I combined strengths to set up and open the new Lagos Vet Clinic in 2011, and have enjoyed watching it grow over the years since then.
I now have 2 dogs, (including Churchill!) and a beautiful cat called Breakfast!
Life includes a great social circle and a little travel when possible!
I finished my veterinary nurse course in 2011 and started to work in a veterinary hospital in Lisbon for a year. It was really good for the work experience but I always wanted to work in Algarve. And if it was closer to Portimão, my hometown, even better!

In 2012 I was giving my curriculum door to door when I entered Lagos Vet for the first time. I had an interview on the same day and they offered me a job. Love at first sight maybe?! It’s been my 2nd home since.
I’m now a mom of a 3yo amazing girl and I dedicate my free time looking after animals, enjoying nature and doing homemade works.
I was born in Lisbon but have lived here in Lagos ever since I can remember, growing up surrounded by dogs. Cats came a bit later but since then I have had cats in my life, I cannot live without them. For now I only have 3 dogs and 2 cats.

This passion for animals made me decide to study for a Veterinary nurse degree and I graduated in 2016 at Escola Superior Agrária de Castelo Branco. Since then I have been a part of the team here at LVC.
I like to travel and spending time with my big family.
I was born and raised in the Portimão area.
I`m a huge animal lover, growing up we always had dogs. Nowadays I have a dog called Mason and three cats, Layne, Lazarus and Morgana.
For a long time all I wanted to do was work with animals so I studied and qualified to be a Veterinary Assistant.
I`ve been a part of the LVC team since January 2019.
I was born and raised in Brazil, at the age of 19, I moved to Portugal on a student visa and entered Marine Biology at the University of Algarve.

In 2020 I decided to take the technical course of veterinary assistant and first aid in pets, just to have more knowledge and apply in the care of my dogs and horses, but I fell in love with this clinical area and since then I couldn't see myself working in any another field!
LVC was my internship, I've learnt a lot from everyone who works here and I'm happy to be part of this team!
I was born in British Columbia, Canada and but raised in Algarve in a beautiful village called Carvoeiro.
I began my BSc of veterinary nursing at Middlesex University, London, UK, and was lucky to do my internship at the Royal veterinary College hospital BSAH.
I completed my studies in Portugal at the University of Castelo Branco.

I trained as a dog groomer in Cork and spent some time enjoying competing in national grooming competitions and taking part in workshops while working under, and learning from, a very gifted and experienced groomer.
I went on to open my first grooming parlour in Cork city before moving to Lagos in 2013 and joining the LVC team as the resident groomer.
I love spending my days surrounded by my fabulous four-legged friends and our little son, Ziggy.
I came to Portugal in 2017 to work for a season but fell in love with the country and never left!
I'm so happy to be training under Jenny and to be part of the LVC team.
